Falconhead Golf Club opened in 2003, an incredible addition to Austin golf. Laid out by the experts from the PGA Tour Design Center, our public daily-fee course offers golfers a taste of the quality golf that pro players contend on in one of the most beautiful areas of Texas, the rolling terrain of the Central Texas Hill Country in and around Austin.
The vision of the architects was to fit Falconhead lovingly into the gentle ups and downs of its site west of Austin. They kept all the flavor of this unique land shaded by gnarled trees and crisscrossed by meandering streams and creeks. The Tour's seal of approval means that we offer you the kind of excitement you would expect to find at a tournament-level course, combined with a chance to succeed no matter what your skill level. We have five sets of tee box to provide you with exactly the kind of round you want to play.
EVENT OVERVIEW
FORMAT
18-hole stroke play championship. All entries are on a first come, first served basis. A sudden death on-course playoff will be held to determine winners of any flight that is tied after 18 holes, weather and course availability permitting
Entry Fee: $150
Entry Deadline: Sunday November 17 @ 8:00 AM CST - there will a $25 late fee added to any registration that takes place after the entry deadline, subject to approval by the Tour Director
Includes: 18 holes of golf w/ cart, range balls, prize fund for top finishers (25-30%) in each flight, tournament setup & scoring
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Registration / Check-In: 7:00-9:30 am
All participants must check-in with the tournament committee AT LEAST 20 minutes prior to their scheduled tee off time. Players will have the opportunity to enter into the optional $20 skins and/or $10 giant skins games (cash only) at this time.
Starting Times: Single tee start on #1 at 8:00 am
Starting times/pairings will typically be emailed to each participant and posted on the tournament webpage 48 hours in advance of the tournament.
Awards Ceremony: 12:00pm-2:00pm
A picture of the winner of each flight will be taken for submission to the website. If you have won a gift certificate or skin(s) and do not pick it up after play, it will be held for you until the next event you play in. Gift cards will be paid out to the top 25-30% of each flight. The champions of each flight will receive a trophy or like award.
