18-hole Stroke Play Championship

 

 

Avery Ranch Golf Club features the best golf in Central Texas and a real Hill Country golf experience. Former Jack Nicklaus Architect Andy Raugust has blended panoramic vistas and gentle rolling hills with oak-lined fairways and a 60-acre lake.  The 18-hole championship course offers five tee placements that will challenge the low-handicapper while creating an enjoyable golfing experience for all levels of players.  The course begins with a very challenging front 9, including the picturesqe #7 signature hole.  The back 9 is a unique blend of three par 3's, three par 4's and three par 5's, allowing players to use a more risk/reward strategy.  The round closes with "the best finishing hole in Austin".  The 18th hole is a beautiful 477-yard, par 4 bordering Avery Lake and providing a fantastic view of the Texas Hill Country.  It truly is the perfect end to your round.

FORMAT

 

18-hole stroke play championship.  All entries are on a first come, first served basis. A sudden death on-course playoff will be held to determine winners of any flight that is tied after 18 holes, weather and course availability permitting

Entry Fee: $150
 

Entry Deadline: Saturday October 12 @ midnight CST - there will a $25 late fee added to any registration that takes place after the entry deadline, subject to approval by the Tour Director

Includes: 18 holes of golf w/cart, range balls, prize fund for top finishers (25-30%) in each flight, tournament setup & scoring

 

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Registration / Check-In: 7:00-10:00 am
 

All participants must check-in with the tournament committee AT LEAST 20 minutes prior to their scheduled tee off time. Players will have the opportunity to enter into the optional $20 skins and/or $10 giant skins games (cash only) at this time.
 

Starting Times: Tee time start on #1 beginning at 8:00 am

Starting times/pairings will typically be emailed to each participant and posted on the tournament webpage 48 hours in advance of the tournament.
 

Awards Ceremony: 12:00pm-2:00pm
 

A picture of the winner of each flight will be taken for submission to the website. If you have won a gift certificate or skin(s) and do not pick it up after play, it will be held for you until the next event you play in. Gift cards will be paid out to the top 25-30% of each flight. The champions of each flight will receive a trophy or like award.
