EVENT OVERVIEW
Welcome to the Golf Channel Amateur Tour’s Kiawah Island Championship at the Kiawah Island resort utilizing The Ocean Course and Turtle Point Golf Course.
The Golf Channel Amateur Tour is excited to be at Kiawah home of the famed Ocean Course. The Ocean Course has hosted a Sr. PGA Championship, a PGA Championship, and the Ryder Cup. No golf course in the world gives you the scenic beauty, challenging weather, and championship golf like The Ocean Course.
$595 Entry fee includes all green fees, cart fees, range balls, trophies, player welcome packs, generous prize fund, and scoring.
QUALIFIERS
The top 3 finishers per flight, including ties, will earn an exemption into the 2020 National Championship.

Rates are presently subject to a 6.5% South Carolina state tax and a total of 6% local taxes (taxes are subject to change). The maximum occupancy at Kiawah Island Golf Resort is two (2) adults per bedroom. Children under the age of 18, when accompanied by an adult and staying in the same room, are free of charge. Each golfer will be charged a housekeeping fee of $13.50 per night. There is a daily resort fee of 8% per villa per night which includes all on island transportation to resort owned venues for group and individual use via the existing fleet of resort vehicles (capacity approximately 120 people, additional fees may apply for transportation services outside of regular business hours). Should your group require a larger move in a restricted period of time or should you desire dedicated service exclusive to your group, additional vehicles may be obtained for a fee. The Resort Fee also includes access to the villa fitness room and the two villa resort pools. Transportation hours are 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
Check-in time for accommodations is 4:30 P.M. on the day of arrival.
Check-out time is 10:30 a.m. on the day of departure.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS / PAIRINGS
Registration will be Friday February 28th, from 3:30 to 6:30 in the Ocean Clubhouse, any player that cannot make it to Friday registration will be able to register Saturday morning from 6:30am to 9am at the course they are playing.
1st round of play 8:30 am double tee start on Saturday, February 29th.
Final round of play 7:30 am double tee start on Sunday March 1st.
Awards ceremony will take place at the course you completed once each flight is completed.
CART PATH ONLY ON THE OCEAN COURSE!!!!
It is cart path only on the Ocean Golf Course. Please make sure that if you plan to ride you understand that carts will not be allowed on the fairways and must stay on the Cart Paths.
CADDIE INFORMATION
Single Premium Caddies have been secured for any player needing a caddie for the Ocean Course only. A $100 gratuity is required and must be paid in cash to the caddy the day of play on the Ocean golf course. The Ocean course will be cart path only. All players wishing to utilize the Kiawah Island Caddie must reserve a caddie by e-mailing Brandon Woods at Brandon_woods@kiawahresort.com by Februay14th. Players can bring their own caddies or carry their own bag. Players do not have to have a caddie.
PRACTICE ROUND INFORMATION
Practice Rounds can be played the week of February 24th, 2020 on the Ocean Course for $250 (Walking Only for Practice Rounds at the Ocean Course) and the Turtle Course for $150. Players can call the resort 30 days in advance toll free at (800) 654-2924 or call the clubhouse direct at (843) 266-4670.
CANCELLATION POLICY
A $75 cancellation fee will be applied to any cancellation prior to 12:00 noon February 21, 2020. There will be no refund for any cancellations after 12:00 noon February 21, 2020 for any reason.
